Two summer shows

The Half-Pots are included in two group shows this summer. Both are up through August 13th. They provide interesting contrasts in context for the pots — the Nicole Klagsbrun show is steeped in material and formal language, whereas the Kate Werble show is more about the oddities (oddness?) implicit in everyday objects. Of course, within these two shows, there are intersections, especially in the manipulation of materials meant for uses other than are found in these artworks. They are both well thought-out shows with a singular point of view, worth the effort to go see. My pots are in good company!
